Return to school With the return to school comes the return of school buses to our roadways. This requires drivers to pay extra attention as buses will make frequent stops to pick up and drop off students. Be patient! Watch for the STOP sign, and leave a safe space between your vehicle and the school bus. Failure to stop for a school bus can result, for a first offence, in $400 to $2,000 fines, and six demerit points.
