There are 3 dual credit courses set to run at Fleming College in the Fall semester starting the week of September 16th. The deadline to apply is Monday, September 9, 2019 at 4:00pm.

Manicure (Tuesdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm)
Manicures are one of the most requested services in the Spa industry. Wet and dry treatments, hot stone massage, exfoliants and masks will provide students with a solid learning foundation. All aspects of decontamination nail disorders and diseases are discussed and practiced.
Campus: Peterborough (Sutherland Campus)

Environmental Drilling (Wednesdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm)
This course provides the technical skills required to work in the environmental drilling industry. Working practices at hazardous sites, monitoring well installations, and common soil sampling and testing procedures will be presented with hands-on practical training. Grout types and procedures for grouting and hole abandonment will also be presented.

Across the Lifespan (Thursdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm)
Human development across the lifespan will be studied by exploring the interrelationship between biological, psychological and sociocultural influences from conception to the end of life. Upon completion of the course, learners will have an understanding of individual development, in addition to the impact of lifespan development on families and communities. Learners will have the opportunity to follow an individual’s development throughout the lifespan, using a variety of biopsychosocial factors.

Georgian College

Classes for Dual Credit courses at Georgian College begin September 12, 2019.

Electrical Installations (Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm)
In this course students perform installation methods for various electrical wiring methods and safely perform their tasks according to Code rules. Topics covered in this course include raceways and wireways, cabling methods, service entrance installations, low voltage and extra-low voltage circuits.
Campus: Bracebridge (Georgian Muskoka Campus)

Developing Leadership (Thursdays from 4:00pm to 7:00pm)
This course examines leadership within a personal and professional context. Students explore leadership qualities and skills and the role leadership plays both locally and globally. Personal and interpersonal effectiveness skills that contribute to contemporary leadership and collaboration are clarified and applied in diverse settings.
Campus: Bracebridge (Georgian Muskoka Campus)
