When you decided to go back to school or continue your education, what interested you the most about the Adult & Alternate Education Centre?
I had heard good things about the teacher and open/safe space so I felt I could achieve academically.

What project or assignment challenged you the most as a student? Why?
Math, I’ve just always struggled with the subject or anything to do with it, but I’ve gotten a better understanding being [at AAEC].

What was the most surprising thing you learned about yourself during your time at the Adult & Alternate Education Centre?
I learned that if I take my time and focus I can accomplish anything.

What advice would you give to other students who are looking to attend the Adult & Alternate Education Centre?
It’s a very safe space, and you get loads of help if you need it. If you’re a person struggling with anxiety because of lots of people, [AAEC] is a very good option for having a more comfortable experience while learning.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Finishing college and hopefully working at a very good job that I enjoy very much.
