Day School

The Adult & Alternate Education Centre offers Day School for students to earn their high school diploma and upgrade their employment skills.

All classes are offered Monday to Friday in a teacher taught setting.

To be eligible for Day School, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Day School Schedule

Day School runs Monday to Friday, mornings only. Official start times can be found at anewstart.ca/daily-class-schedule.

Starting in September and running until June of each year, the Adult & Alternate Education Centre run six week block courses at the Bracebridge, Huntsville and Lindsay locations, which allow students to earn a credit in that same amount of time. Students can also participate in Co-operative Education and the REAL program.
